What is ‘Colour for Spring’?

With no Spring Show this year, our Colour for Spring event aims to bring people together to take part and enjoy a riot of colour throughout the village! The activity will take place throughout the Spring!

This is a trial new initiative, starting now because we can’t have our usual Spring Flower Show exhibits, but that we hope that our doing activities together and sharing photos will become an ongoing  feature on our website.

How to take part:

1.    Colour in the images of daffodils, primroses and tulips we have provided and display them in your windows.

(You can let your creativity and imagination run wild! You could use felt tips or crayons, or paint, or beads, pasta, sequins? Whatever!)

If you click on the images you can download them and then print them off A4 size.

2.    AND/OR it would be wonderful if you could put your spring flowers and shrubs on view for passers-by to enjoy. Or share pictures of any flowers or vegetables your have on display or growing in your gardens!

3.    Take photos of your masterpieces!

4.    Submit your photos for the ‘Colour for Spring’ Gallery
